1. Overview

Allometry respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement and take appropriate action to protect the rights of copyright holders and our users.

2. Filing a DMCA Notice

To report copyright infringement on the Allometry platform, please send a written notice to our designated agent that includes the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it on our platform
  • Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was wrongly removed as a result of a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include your contact information, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to jurisdiction. Counter-notifications should be sent to the same designated agent listed above.

5. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, Allometry maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyrighted material. We implement this policy at our discretion and in appropriate circumstances to protect the rights of copyright holders.
